eremiah 17:5-8 (NLT) This is what the Lord says: “Cursed are those who put their trust in mere humans, who rely
on human strength and turn their hearts away from the Lord. They are like stunted shrubs in the desert, with no
hope for the future. They will live in the barren wilderness, in an uninhabited salty land. “But blessed are those
who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence. They are like trees planted along a
riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long
months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they never stop producing fruit.

Proverb 3:5 (MSG) Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own. Listen

that you know it all.

Psalms 20:6-8 (NIV) Now this I know: The Lord gives victory to his anointed. He answers him from his heavenly
sanctuary with the victorious power of his right hand. Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in
the name of the Lord our God. They are brought to their knees and fall, but we rise up and stand firm.

John 16:31-33 (MSG) Jesus answered them, “Do you finally believe? In fact, you’re about to make a run for

love—far exceeding our expectations!

Psalms 13:3-6 (NLT) Turn and answer me, O Lord my God! Restore the sparkle to my eyes, or I will die. Don’t let
my enemies gloat, saying, “We have defeated him!” Don’t let them rejoice at my downfall. But I trust in your
