An odd thing happened at work last Wednesday.

I am the bookkeeper for a charity in Farnham. There are three of us in the office, the other two are directors of the charity, an art-related organisation. Sometimes a participant with problems will come into the office to ask for help, to talk over a problem.

On Wednesday last a female participant came and poured out her deep concerns. I listened and even made a comment at first but then concentrated on my work.

Suddenly she came over to me and said ” Sorry for my swearing”.

I said, “I didn’t hear it.” Which was true.

Note she didn’t apologise to the others only to me. Without knowing, she was actually saying sorry to Jesus not me. The Jesus in me. Sometimes the world sees more than we realise.

Colossians‬ ‭1:27‬ ‭AMP‬‬

“To whom God was pleased to make known how great for the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ within and among you, the Hope of [realizing the] glory.”
