Message From The Pastors

Are we following the Lord’s commands? Are we doing what He has asked us to?

I believe God wants us to follow His plan for us. He doesn’t want us to only get half the picture and then make the rest up for ourselves! Abraham left his home and followed God to a new land (Gen 12:1-4). Notice that Abraham followed all of the instructions he was given (apart from Lot). He didn’t hear God tell him he was to leave and then make his own plans about where he thought he was supposed to go! He got all the instructions before he started making his plans! Let us not only get a part of the plan and run with it; let us instead keep on listening to what the Lord is saying beyond the initial word! How many times have we clearly heard God telling us to do something and then allowed our own wisdom to take over and finish the plan? Remember, God’s thoughts are not ours. Sometimes we feel we need to help the Lord! Do we not think that He already has everything mapped out? Seek Him! Make sure what we do is what He wants and not a distraction from the enemy. Brothers and sisters, I want us to be so in tune with the Spirit that God can work His perfect plan in us. I want us to be in a place where we can’t be taken off course. We must dwell more and more in the secret place of the Most High (Ps 91:1). Let us take the time to listen to the Spirit and trust the word, after all it is a lamp unto our feet (Ps 119:105). Make sure the things you undertake are in God’s perfect plan for you – a God idea and not just a good idea. Being in His plan brings us to our destination much quicker. He knows the best route and also the snares that have been laid! Diligently seek Him in every decision and He will lead you in the way you should go. Run your race free from distractions and encumbrances! (Heb 12:1-2) Make these verses your prayer. Amen! Dawn & Duncan

Daily Encouragement

Words are of no importance unless we have the assurance of the abiding truth of them in our hearts.
My son, pay attention to what I say; listen closely to my words. Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; for they are life to those who find them and health to a man's wholle body. Pr 4:20-22
